Looking For Christmas Elves

The Hays County Brown Santa (HCBS) program consists of volunteers from the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, the Hays County Citizen's Sheriff's Academy Alumni Association and others from across the Hays County Community.

The Mission: To Help Provide a Better Holiday Season for Hundreds of Families and Children across Hays County.

The Challenge: The Program Seeks Donations / Financial Contributions, from the Citizens, Local Businesses and other Non-Profit Groups in the Hays County Community, as well as Volunteers to Help Prepare for and Make the Deliveries.

In 2025, HCBS received 890 online applications. Out of all the online applications received, 93 were forwarded to San Marcos Blue Santa, 62 were forwarded to the Kyle Blue Santa, 41 were forwarded to Caldwell County Brown Santa, 9 were forwarded to Travis County Brown Santa and 34 were found to be either Duplicate / Ficticious applications.

When the 2025 Holiday Snowstorm of Applications ended,
volunteers delivered food &/or toys to 651 Families

A Mission that would not have been possible
without the support of the Hays County Community!
